Tiger and Tom are two mean cats from the Holly Webb book The Frightened Kitten. Maddy doesn't really like them, because they keep sneaking into her house and frightening her tortoiseshell kitten, Cookie. They hiss and scratch a lot, but Maddy doesn't care, even when they do that to her when she is protecting Cookie from them. They even ate Cookie's food one night.
